1. Fun Quiz
The orientation kicked off with a lively and interactive quiz conducted by Shlok. The quiz served as an icebreaker, energizing the participants and setting a fun tone for the session. It allowed everyone to bond while testing their knowledge about robotics.
2. Presentation on ATOM's Journey
Hriday took the stage to present a detailed overview of the history and growth of ATOM Robotics Lab. He highlighted the lab's accomplishments and shared the milestones achieved by the team over the years, offering attendees a deeper understanding of the lab’s mission and culture.
3. A.J.G.A.R – The Robotic Arm
One of the major projects of ATOM, A.J.G.A.R, a cutting-edge robotic arm, was introduced by Aakshar. He explained the technical aspects, the challenges faced during its development, and how it plays a crucial role in ATOM’s innovation efforts. Attendees were captivated by the complexity and potential of this project.
4. MR Robot – The AMR Project
Kiriti followed with a presentation on MR Robot, an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) project developed by ATOM. He explained how MR Robot contributes to autonomous systems and robotics solutions, showcasing ATOM’s expertise in advanced robotics.
5. GUI for MR Robot
Aastha further elaborated on MR Robot by discussing its Graphical User Interface (GUI). She explained how the GUI enhances user interaction with the robot and simplifies control mechanisms, making the system more accessible for users.
6. Recruitment Tasks Introduction
Pragya then introduced the selection tasks for this year’s recruitment process. She outlined the different challenges and tasks candidates would need to complete to become part of ATOM Robotics Lab, providing clarity and motivation for prospective members.
