Smart India Hackathon 2017


AICTE has started a campaign for upgrading the standards of technical education in India and formulate multiple schemes for welfare of students, faculties and institutions like creating the Startup Policy, Smart India Hackathon 2017 and Project Swayam. In the series, campaign of Smart India Hackathon 2017 started with the first LEADERSHIP TALK by Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, Organizing Committee, Smart India Hackathon 2017 and Chairman, AICTE on Dec 16, 2016 at 2.00 PM via Facebook Live also available at https://www.facebook.com/InclusiveInnovations/.  About 90 faculty and staff members at MAIT attended the live session in Room no 114 of CSE department. The agenda of the session included an address by Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe for 45 minutes followed by an open forum session during which students and staff members were free to pose their questions through facebook and get clarity on Smart India Hackathon 2017.

For the enhancement of the quality of technical education, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology registered for Smart India Hackathon 2017 contest for students under the guidance of Prof  M L Goyal (Director General). Dr Namita Gupta, HOD (CSE) has been appointed as ACITE -College SPOC  (AICTE-College Single Point Of Contact) to share AICTE related various schemes with Institute students and faculty members.

Students of all B.Tech disciplines are motivated to participate in the contest. For students guidance, coordinators from each department are nominated: Dr Bhoomi Gupta (IT), Mr  Ashish Khanna (CSE), Mr  Hemant Tulsani (ECE), Mr Sheersh Garg (EEE) and Mr R.C.  Saini (MAE).
