Visit to India Mobile Congress 2023

On 27^th & 28^th October 2023, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology organized a visit to India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2023 being held at Pragati Maidan, Delhi with the theme of IMC 2023 ‘Global Digital Innovation’. A total of 237 students joined this visit, out of which 150 were ECE students. The visit was coordinated by the two faculty members, Dr. Nitin Sharma and Dr. Vinay Kumar Saini, with other faculty members Dr. Neeraj Garg, Mr. Ajay Garg, Mr. Priyank Saxena, Mr. Varun Goel, Bhaskar Kapoor & Mr. Akshay Mool from different Department of the MAIT.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, 27^th October 2023, launched the 7th Edition of the India Mobile Congress 2023 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The India Mobile Congress (IMC) is Asia's largest telecom, media, and technology gathering, and it will be held from October 27th to 29th, 2023.

The IMC 2023 intends to increase India's status as a significant cutting-edge technology innovator, manufacturer, and exporter. The Prime Minister presented 100 '5G Use Case Labs' to educational institutions across the country during the program. The event will act as a platform to highlight India's incredible advancements in telecommunications and technology, bring forth significant announcements and provide an opportunity for start-ups to display their innovative products and solutions.

Finally, a special gratitude goes to Founder & Chief Advisor-MATES, Dr. Nand Kishore Garg, Trustees MATES & Mr. Gopal Mittal, Associate DG - C & F, COAI, for letting our students to attend the Global CEO conference on 5G. Dr. Nitin Sharma (ECE) was in frequent touch with Mr. Gopal Mittal to plan this event, and he kindly guided us through numerous perspectives, which ultimately led in the successful organizing of this visit under the able guidance of the, Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Sharma Director MAIT, Prof. (Dr.) S.S. Deswal Dean MAIT, and Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar HOD ECE MAIT for offering helpful recommendations in planning the visit IMC 2023.
