A 3 day ISTE Annual Student Convention Delhi section on “Emerging Career Trends for Modern Day Engineers” was successfully organized by Electronics and Communication Engineering Department Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology Delhi. The prime objective of the programme was to ensure the overall development of students in the field of Engineering & Technology. The main theme of the seminar was “What after B.Tech.”. Guidance was given on various fields such as GATE preparation, GRE/GMAT/TOEFL preparation, AI and ML, IoT, VLSI, etc.

An Industrial Visit was organized to SSPL, DRDO, Timarpur, Delhi. A total of 35 students (third year ECE and EEE) and 2 faculty members visited the laboratory which is equipped with advanced facilities. Students were briefed on latest Sensor technology, warfare situations & solutions, optoelectronics & advanced material technology and the future scopes of semiconductor devices.

DKOP labs organized a session on Challenges and Employability in Semiconductor Industry by Mr. Bharat for the 5th semester students of ECE branch. About 70 students attended the session. The session included students’ queries and concerns about the industrial scenario and career opportunities prevailing in India and worldwide.

A special seminar was organized by BACE society in collaboration with ECE Dept. on 17th Feb 2017 on the topic, “ Revisiting Human Origin, Studying Archaeological Evidences for Extreme Human Antiquity ”. The seminar was conducted for first year students of all branches. The speaker in this seminar was Dr. Michael Cremo who is a member of the World Archeological Congress and the European Association of Archaeologists as well as an associate member of the Bhaktivedanta Institute.
